Even Teachers Get It Wrong

Featured

While looking at a design spreadsheet that my teacher gave me for my engineering class, I noticed that it didn’t give me as much information as I needed to complete a homework assignment. The assignment called for us to use the spreadsheet to complete some simple designs on paper. I looked for an expanded spreadsheet in the course files, but there wasn’t one. The textbook didn’t even have one that provided the information. I looked online for a better spreadsheet and found one that had exactly what I needed. I emailed the spreadsheet to other people in the class so they could complete the assignment as well.

When the class assembled again, we told the teacher about the problem with the spreadsheet and he didn’t realize that it was limited in its information. We gave him a copy of the better spreadsheet and he added it to the course files for future reference. The teacher was feeling a little embarrassed, because nothing like this has ever happened before, and he thought he was prepared for everything in the class. He was a little paranoid now that everything else he had prepared for the class didn’t have enough information, so he spent the entire weekend making sure all of his information was up to date.

I never want to be a teacher, because it looks stressful. I thought I had it bad as a student, but the teacher has to prepare entire lessons for the students to learn, and then grade their work. The teacher has to make sure that everything they are teaching the students will be accurate, because it will be used in real world applications, and if the students are given the wrong information, then it could affect the lives of millions of people around the world for generations.

An Apartment That is Close to Work

Featured

I am an executive account manager at one of the nation’s coolest amusement parks. There is not one thing that I don’t enjoy about my job, other than the commute time. I live about 30 minutes away, which I did not think would bother me at first. Dealing with traffic five or six days a week often means that my commute time is well over an hour though, and I have grown quite weary of it. When one of my coworkers told me to look at http://www.experiencemurano.com, I could have kissed him!

He knew how much I hated my commute, and this was definitely an answer to my prayers. It is a really nice complex that is just minutes away from where I work. Not only that, but it is really nice too! It has everything that a person could ever want or expect from an apartment complex, and then some! I was able to find out so much information from the website too. The complex is not going to be open until summer of 2016, but that just gives me enough time to apply and make arrangements with the apartment manager where I am right now.

I looked at the pictures online, and the community is just gorgeous. It has everything I need, from the layout of the apartments to all of the amenities for the entire community. I filled out an application right there on the spot, and it did not take long for them to get back to me. I have excellent credit and references, so I didn’t think it would be a problem to get accepted. Now, I just have to play the waiting game, but even that is not so bad because I am so excited about finally moving closer to work in the very near future.

What Are Rural Communities Lacking

Featured

You might be thinking that high-speed rural Internet is nothing but a pipe dream. Maybe you’ve already called to look into it and found that you may have to drop several thousand dollars for them to lay cable to your home. So you’ve continued using dial-up service while the rest of the nation has left you high and dry. I think it’s completely unfair that residents are forced to pay such a pricy bill in order to have access to something that their local government should be providing for them already. The Internet is a must have in 2015 and beyond.

Growing up with the Internet from a young age I can confirm that I’ve had more opportunities thanks to the sheer amount of material that is available to me on the web than I would have without it. I was able to succeed in school where I may not have done as well as I would have liked had I been unable to do my own research on the side. It was easy access to knowledge outside of the library. Even then at 12 years old I was able to find nearly anything that I may have wanted or was having difficulty with in class.

I was able to tutor myself in math because of the Internet. Every child deserves this chance. We all learn differently and sometimes a child can be left behind because the teacher is unable to reach him or her with their methods. They may not have the time to personally sit down with them in order to discover how to teach them best. With so many free tutoring sites and organizations on the web devoted to education, it’s impossible not to become learned in nearly subject if someone was willing to devote themselves to the task.

Best Home Security Providers Near El Centro

Featured

Last night, there was a burglar who tried to break into my house. Well, I guess they did break into the house, but they were not successful at stealing anything. It was a scary event though, and we might not be so lucky in the future. It has really got me thinking, and it has made me think about what I need to do to protect my family. I have decided to look into el centro home security providers, and I hope to get a good deal on a security system. However, the most important aspect of the home security system, is that it is capable of protecting my family. I do not want anything bad to ever happen to my family.

I was lucky that I was at home, at the time of the break-in, this time around. I heard the intruder, and I grabbed my baseball bat. Upon encountering the intruder, I knocked him unconscious with the baseball bat, and I think that he is still in the hospital. I hope that I did not permanently disable him, but it is hard to have compassion for someone who broke into your house. I used to be a pretty good long ball hitter, when I played baseball back into college. But unfortunately, I am not always going to be at home to protect my family, and plus, I would not want to be in the position, where my family relied upon me solely for protection.

I am away on business a lot, and it seems like a necessity, now, to have a security system installed. I would really like to get it installed soon, because this recent incident has really unnerved me. But worst of all, it has made my wife a nervous wreck, and she already had severe problems with anxiety.

This Guy Tried to Sell Me a House

Featured

Which is better? Direct TV or Dish Networks?I was not really thinking about this clearly at first, but after a bit I got to thinking about the fact that this place was not really hooked up to a water system. It was a nice house out in the country. It had a three bedrooms and a full bath with a half bath. There was a satellite dish hidden under a fake rock and it had Direct TV in California, with the local channels for Southern California. The guy was telling me how great it was and he was doing a great job of selling me on the place. Of course it was not all that convenient for me, but my wife would have liked it as it would have cut her commute in half and she would not have had near as much trouble getting to the hospital from this part of the world. That is the big reason why we are looking for a new place to live, because she got a new job and it requires her to commute about twenty five minutes every morning and again each evening.

We were thinking about it, but then I got to thinking about the water situation. You should probably worry about that a lot sooner when you live in a state (or a region really) which has been in a full blown drought for about three whole years. The house had a well and the well was working obviously, but that was not something that was guaranteed to continue. In fact there are already a few areas of the state of California where this has become a huge problem. In the central valley of California there is a big part of the region where all of the wells have run dry and obviously there are no back up plans.

Becoming More Than Just a Provider

Featured

As a former customer of Cox Cable TV, I sometimes miss supporting the company that gave me access to such great content that I really do regret not having. Unfortunately the rising cost of cable television forced me to make a decision that I didn’t want to make, instead cutting the cord and buying myself a PlayStation 4. I wish that cable companies were able to catch on to this technology which is changing the way that we view entertainment completely. With consumers beginning to make more demands for micro services and quick hits of entertainments as well as more flexible methods of choices, cable television is becoming a thing of the past.

They are only remaining relevant because they have control over access to the Internet by acting as ISP’s and cable providers. They cling to their control because of this reason I believe instead of doing what they should be doing and improving their own models of business. They could do much with the money that they have on hand. Just imagine if they were able to separate themselves from being an ISP and instead began to revolutionize their own cable packages by offering consumers entirely new choices.

They could do so much like start their own studio companies who in turn could begin producing micro content at a high quality, charging lower prices for people like myself who want advert-free content that is high quality, highly produced and captivating. Netflix and Youtube both are leading the way in this new era of entertainment while the cable companies themselves are beginning to fall behind, relying still on nothing but DVR, cable packages and On Demand services. None of this new. They need to become more than just the provider as Netflix has done and begin producing their own content or at least investing in those that do.

Making a Plan for Weight Loss

It is obvious to me that it is time for me to take my weight more seriously. It began to creep up on my the winter before last when it snowed all of the time and it was so brutally cold that you could not go out of doors unless you had a really good reason. Now I am probably around twenty or so pounds above what is my ideal weight according to those body mass index web pages. In the past few days I have been looking at some sites like www.nutritionstrategy.com with an eye towards putting together a common sense game plan that is going to lead to the successful attainment of the goal. Obviously there are all sorts of plans out there for this sort of thing, but the large part of them seem to be scams or simple hare brained schemes which are not going to be sensible for me. You can do all sorts of things, but the stuff that a doctor would tell you are the types of things that make sense. It is not as though you are going to find a fun and easy way to do it. Anyone who tells you that they have an easy way out is going to tell you what it is going to cost you in just a little while after that. The way to lose weight always involves two concepts. First you reduce the calories that you take in with your daily diet, then you burn off the excess calories by committing to an exercise regime. The smart thing is always to start off slowly with the exercise. No one is going to go from a sedentary life to running ten miles per day. If you do that, then you are likely to end up dead of a heart attack.

Pet Friendly Place with a Bark Park and Pet Washing Station

How could we pass up moving to a place that has a Bark Park with a pet washing station? This is like a dream come true for my wife and I who like apartment living but have two dogs. I like it that new builders are seeing the value of leasing to pet owners. It used to be you had to move way down the scale of apartment quality to lease a place if you had pets. We found the perfect place at altishighlandpark.com. We will be moving in as soon as it is built.

The plans include and Internet cafe and coffee bar. They will also have a big gym with cardio machines, weights and a big space for those who want to do yoga. They will even offer valet trash service! I have never even heard of that. I have been taking the trash out since before I was a teenager. I am not going to know how to handle someone doing it for me. I’m going to feel a little ritzy with that one.

Hey, we work hard and want a nice place to live. We are not interested in having a house. We like apartment living, but we do want a nice place that is suited to us and our dogs. There is a big park and community garden planned for the complex. I had been growing things in planters on our balcony. Now I can actually do some gardening without having the upkeep of a property and house. I wish we could get started right now. The only drawback I can see with the place is that it is not finished yet. We have to wait until summer 2016 to move in. We are both counting the days. We know our doggies are going to be thrilled.

No More Fights over TV Programming

My kids are old enough to not fight all the time, but that doesn’t mean they follow that same line of logic. They get along really well now since we switched to DirecTV, and I wish I would have done this a long time ago since the house is so much peaceful now. It all started when my daughter showed me a website where we could order DirecTV here. I asked her what was wrong with our cable, and she went into a long speech about how she can never watch what she wants because her brothers always have control over the TV.

I definitely felt for her, because we are the only two females in a house of seven. I knew she was tired of sports programming and science fiction movies as much as I was. However, I didn’t really want to watch anything else either, whereas she did. The boys never let her watch her reality TV shows or her favorite cartoons because most things need to be recorded since we are not home when they air live. That would not have been a problem if we could have recorded more than two shows at once, but that was our sad reality.

When she showed me that DirecTV is different and allows for up to six things to be recorded at once, I knew that it was the system that we needed to get. It was very easy to get the information I needed from the site that I went to, and I was even able to do a live chat with a customer service rep to ask a few more questions about the equipment. After getting the answers that would finally bring about family peace, I placed an order to have it installed. That was a few months ago, and it has truly changed the mood of our house now that everyone can watch what they want!

When It Comes to Mold: Act Now

The easy answer to whether or not you have mold in your home is, yes. It’s important to have your roof looked at for mold. If it’s there, then I highly encourage you to look into hiring one of the many reliable and reputable roofing companies in NYC. Remember, there are thousands of different types of mold in the world, and all homes naturally have some mold and spores in the dust and air. Most types in small amounts will not cause severe problems with your health or affect your home adversely, but certain conditions can cause molds to grow and flourish to an unhealthy level. Here are some signs that you may have a high level of mold and/or a type of mold (like Black mold) that could be detrimental to your health and home. You have areas of high moisture in your home.

Mold needs water in order to grow. If your home is particularly humid, or you see lots of condensation around windows, conditions are optimal for a mold problem. Many areas in the southern states or by large bodies of water are particularly prone to high humidity and deserve extra vigilance. Air conditioning window units in particular can be a big source of extra moisture that can lead to mold infestations. You have an unaddressed leak. A chronic leak in your plumbing, roof, or windows can lead not only to rot, but encourages the growth of mold. Timely repairs can prevent growth, but leaving a leak for more than a couple of days can be all you need to encourage mold to flourish. This is exactly why it is so important to have annual and consistent inspections of your home. If you think that there is even a hint of mold in your home, act now before it’s too late.

Getting the Vaporizer That I Want

When I lost my vaporizer on an extended trip to my friend’s house, I knew that I had to replace it as quickly as possible. The only way to do this would be to do it online because his area did not have any vape stores around like I have around me back home. I had never purchased anything like this online, so I did a search for reputable online suppliers and dealers. That is how I found Vapor Domain, and I am going to be using them for all of my vaping needs from now on.

It is a review site that gives unbiased reviews on the best vaporizers on the market. There are so many different kind, and some of them can be quite pricey. Because of this, finding a site like this that gives honest reviews was like finding gold to me. They have all the top brands and models, none of which I had ever tried before. It was really neat to be able to read in depth information about each one of them, and that is what helped me make an informed decision on the one that I wanted to get for myself.

They have reviews on whip vaporizers, balloon vaporizers, and portable vaporizers, which is what I wanted to get. I liked that everything was sorted in different categories, because it meant I was able to look at just the reviews that I was interested in. I was able to look at pictures, read about battery life and how each one performs. I was also able to find out what is included with each one, and read full reviews from people who have tried all of them too. Without this site, I might have ended up getting a vaporizer that I was not happy with. Instead, I got exactly what I wanted.

He Helped His Sister Find a Fun Airplane Game

My son loves to play all kinds of games, and his younger sister tries to keep up with him. She adores her older brother, so it is only natural that she wants to play all of the same things that he does. He likes to go to Plane Games 365, a website that has all kinds of fun airplane games on it. She wanted to play with him, but she just could not get interested in the same games that he likes to play there since he tends to favor the ones that have to do with flying war planes.

He is such a good older brother though, and he took time to look at quite a few different games on the site so he could find one that she would like. It actually did not take very long for him to find a game for her, since there are so many different kinds of games there. He knew she would not like the flight simulation games or the ones using attack planes, but he found several that she really does enjoy playing with him. He even plays them with her because they are fun for him too.

One of them is about paper airplanes. She just has to fly a paper airplane through a maze that has a bunch of obstacles on it. It might sound like it is easy, but it can get quite challenging with the higher levels. Her favorite game though is a time management game where she is in change of the entire airport. It is her job to make sure planes arrive and leave on time, that they have the proper maintenance, and that the passengers have no problems. She plays that game so much, and it is such a joy to watch the two of them laughing together over one of the airplane games they are playing together.

Taking out Crime at the Source

I have always been sickened by the amount of crime that occurs in a modern society like our own. I had just recently moved into a new home that lay nestled in the most quaint of suburban neighborhoods. I felt safe here and had convinced myself that crime would never reach such a idyllic place in the American heartland. So why was it that three months later I was looking into www.home-security.co/? It didn’t take long for the security of the place to be breached — what can you expected from a single gate with a simple four digit code? It’s hardly going to stop someone who wants in badly enough.

Someone did. For weeks it had been happening but nobody was the wiser. Little things began to disappear at first until finally someone’s house had been broken into. Their door left wide open, the criminals responsible for the theft casually strolled right through their front door, loaded up the car with valuables and electronics as if it all belonged to them. While I was able to avoid being robbed to such a degree I did discover their vain attempts to break into my home. Window frames had been cracked from where they had sought to pry them open but thankfully the home had prevailed.

I don’t know what I would have done had I found someone in my home. I’m not a violent person but the very notion of having a stranger in my home with the purpose to steal from me is enough to make my blood boil and my anger to send my heart pounding. I wouldn’t let them get away with it! Even if it meant that I would fling myself at them to get them to stop, I would do everything in my power to stop them.

Forced into Updates Every Year

Not everyone is a fan of a new iOS whenever it’s released. Those of us who prefer not to upgrade our iPhone usually fall into this camp and is why websites like downgradeios8.com are made available. I love Apple and I love Apple products, I really do, but I’m not the only one who thinks that it is absurd of them to force these upgrades onto their customers which will typically mean that they are going to have to upgrade their iPhone as well. Why not offer an upgrade that doesn’t have to mean upgrading their phone along with it?

I believe Apple has the ability as well as the programmers to provide updates which would not impair on the current hardware of the more recent released iPhones. I can understand if the original iPhones couldn’t handle the updates (especially those released in the last year or so) but when a phone is released a year ago and a new update happens the following year which will cause lag and delayed responses or performance issues for that phone in particular then there is an issue. To me this is nothing short of a way for Apple to make more money from their customers.

I’m sure that they would never admit to something like that. I think it might even be illegal to actually force a customer into a purchase due to ‘updates’ of this type. Whatever the case might be, Apple should be far more focused on the quality of their products as well as keeping their customers happy. We pay a good deal of money to have access to their products, their designs as well as their cloud services. We should be able to have our devices supported for several years and not be forced into upgrades year after year.
